We welcome all people from all around the world. The view from the apartment is amazing. You will find yourself drawn over to the window often just to look at the beautiful scenery. The sun sets behind the hills with some incredible displays directly in front of the apartment. Numerous boats, ships and Tankers can be seen traveling up and down the loch.
The Waverly tours up and down the loch in the summer months. The Waverly is a true experience and piece of Scottish history. It is the worlds last sea going paddle steam boat. You can enjoy a memorable trip on the Waverly from various points along the loch. Click here for the Waverly time table page. Another amazing small boat trip is the Kilcreggan Ferry. The Kilcreggan Ferry operates all year round between Kilcreggan and Gourock, with a crossing time of less than 15 minutes. The ferry is the best way to see the stunning Clyde estuary and is a convenient link for those who wish to explore the Rosneath peninsula.
If you’re travelling from Kilcreggan to Gourock, you can take a ferry to Dunoon or a train or bus to any destination south of the Clyde. Gourock is another ideal place to visit. Home of Scotlands oldest heated outdoor sea water swimming pool. I can only imagine the health benefits of this pool. The pool is heated and uses salt water taken from the River Clyde. The water is filtered, cleaned and maintained at a minimum temperature of 29C. This link will take you to the wikipedia page
